The calendar has turned to the a new school year and that means the OSSAA high school Fall baseball season will be here soon. The season officially gets underway on August 10, but teams can play games before then if both teams have already started school.

Up until that the beginning of the season, SSBR will be providing previews of as many teams as we can. Recently, SSBR sent out questionnaires to the high school coaches across the state of Oklahoma asking for their top returning players, top newcomers, overall strengths/weaknesses, and their overall assessment where their respective programs are coming into the 2026 Fall season.

What you have below are the responses to those questions in the words of the coaches themselves.

Today’s team: Roff Tigers

Classification: B

2025 Fall Results: 12-13 (Class A)

2026 Spring Results: 20-14 (Class B State quarterfinalist)

Head Coach: Derek Collins

Head coaching experience: 8 years (4 at Roff)

  • Mason Dansby

  • Redek Collins (more returning from injury)

Outlook

Going to be a big change. Losing 7 starters from a state tournament team. I believe we will be competitive by end of season. Just have to weather the storm

    If you are going to make this credible at least do more research. This has been a joke for years & it’s evident that y’all just post for engagement.

    Failed to mention one of their best arms last year (if not the best) who’s going into his sophomore season & had a phenomenal summer with great numbers on the bump.

    Feel free to respond and I can do the research for you since you want to be mediocre at your job that consist of analyzing stats and journaling.
