The first official full week of the 2026 Fall season was last week and what a week it was.
Here at SSBR we try to have fun with what we do. We cover a sport that is supposed to be fun and we want to convey that in our content.
One of the ways SSBR does it is by doing a version of a ranking system. SSBR take all the teams regardless of classification and do our best to rank them on how they are doing relative to their class.
*In the Spring we have the caveat that says we are not ranking them on a “head to head” basis. In the Fall since teams may play each other regardless of class more regularly, “head to head” is more of a factor.
We also do our rankings based on results more than what we think who would necessarily win a game. If a spot comes down to two teams, if they’ve played head to head the result of that game weighs heavily in that decision. (The first week’s rankings, however, do have what a team’s expectations for the season factored in, but as the season goes along it will be the results that matter.)
In the Spring we do a “Sweet Sixteen. In the Fall we do an “Top Ten,” because there aren’t as many teams as the Spring. (We are expanding from 8 to 10 this Fall season.)
As always, this is for fun so please treat it as such.

1. Silo Rebels (6-0)
Silo has clearly been the most impressive team in the state to start the season. They are the first team to 6 wins while winning the prestigious Dale Invitational this past week. In their 6 wins on the season, the Rebels have allowed only 5 runs while scoring 62. These results came against Wright City (2x), Calera, Rattan, Preston, and Ft Cobb-Broxton. Not too shabby.
This week: Mon vs (#4) Rattan; Tues at Roff; Thurs-Sat Tupelo Tournament
2. Ft Cobb-Broxton Mustangs (5-1)
The Mustangs have looked impressive to start the season winning their first 5 games before getting knocked off in the finals of the Dale Invitational by Silo. Ft Cobb-Broxton is averaging over 11 runs a game to start the season.
This week: Tues at Calumet; Thurs vs Blair/Granite; Fri vs (#5) Dale; Fri vs Arapaho-Butler
3. Tushka Tigers (5-0)
The 2x state runner up from the 2025-2026 school year returns 10 players from last year and look to be one of the true contenders in 2A this Fall. The Tigers have started 5-0 allowing only 4 runs total while averaging almost 14 runs per game.
This week: Tues vs Wright City; Thurs-Sat Oktaha Tournament
4. Rattan Rams (5-1)
Just like Ft Cobb-Broxton with their 5-1 record, Rattan’s only blemish to start the season came against Silo in the Dale Invitational. The Rams went 3-1 in the Dale Invitational beating Calumet, AmPo, and Cameron with the Rams outscoring AmPo and Cameron 20-0 combined after their loss to Silo.
This week: Mon at (#1) Silo; Tues at Colbert; Thurs-Sat Oktaha Tournament
5. Dale Pirates (2-1)
Dale opened their season hosting their annual Dale Invitational going 2-1 in the tournament. Their loss came to Ft Cobb-Broxton in the semis in a back and forth game that saw FCB score 3 in the 7th inning to edge the Pirates. In the 3 games, the Pirates’ offensed showed out scoring 33 runs over the 3 games (wins over AmPo and Preston).
This week: Tue at (#8) Oktaha; Fri at (#2) Ft Cobb-Broxton; Fri at Arapaho-Butler
6. Tupelo Tigers (3-0)
Coming off a state semifinal appearance in the Spring and graduating only 1 senior off that team, expectations are high in Tupelo. The Tigers have been impressive in their start outscoring their 3 opponents (Calera, Vanoss, Rock Creek) a combined 38-8.
This week: Mon vs Caney; Thurs-Sat Tupelo Tournament
7. Dover Longhorns (5-0)
Winning 46 games and 2 state tournament appearances in the 2025-2026 school year, Dover looks to be a contender in Class B with some outstanding talent returning. The Longhorns outscored their first 4 opponents a combined 53-8 before exacting revenge on the team (Leedey) who knocked them out of both state tournaments last year, 3-2.
This week: Mon at Union City; Tues vs Glencoe; Thurs-Sat Chad Speer Classic
8. Oktaha Tigers (3-1)
Oktaha looks to be a factor in Class 2A once again this Fall. Their lone loss was a close one to Rattan at which point they held the lead in the game. In their 3 wins, the Tigers outscored their opponents 35-6.
This week: Tues vs #5 Dale; Thurs-Sat Oktaha Tournament
9. Drummond Bulldogs (3-1)
Coming off a 26 win season and a trip to the A-2 state tournament in the Spring, Drummond has some high expectations this Fall. After a opening game loss to Ripley, the Bulldogs reeled off 3 straight wins at the Festival at OK Christian and the Dover Fall Festival. Drummond had one of the most impressive wins of the opening week: at 12-0 run rule over 2025 Fall 2A State Champion, Byng in Edmond. They then beat OCA, 10-1, and Leedey, 8-2.
This week: Mon vs Glencoe; Tues at Okarche; Thurs-Sat at Leedey Tournament
10. Navajo Indians (4-1)
Navajo got off to a rough start losing to Ft Cobb-Broxton in their opener, but righted the ship winning their next 4 games. In those 4 wins, the Indians went 3-0 to win the Fletcher Wood Bat Tournament outscoring their opponents a combined 21-4.
This week: Mon vs Blair/Granite; Thurs-Sat Tupelo Tournamnet
