With over half of the 2026 professional season over and the influx of the 2026 MLB Draft picks, it was time for an updated prospect rankings.

That is what MLB Pipeline did on Friday when they released their Top 100 MLB Prospect Rankings along with listing the top 30 prospects for each MLB organization.

Once again, the state of Oklahoma is well represented in these rankings. The Sooner State has over 20 prospects listed in the top 30 team rankings with 2 of them in the top 100 overall.

It is important to remember that several prospects with Oklahoma ties have recently graduated from these rankings as they are now into their MLB careers – think Nolan McLean, Carson Benge, Payton Tolle, and Jake Bennett among others.

Top 100 Overall

The Sooner State had 2 players named to the overall top 100. Eli Willits of Ft Cobb-Broxton High School and Ethan Holliday of Stillwater High School were named to the top 100.

Willits was ranked as the 4th prospect overall. He was the #1 overall draft pick by the Nationals in 2025 and has already been promoted to High A after starting the season in Class A. He has spent just about the same amount of time at both levels and he is slashing .274/.425/.479 (OPS .904) with 13 HR with 61 RBI. He also has 23 2B and 52 stolen bases.

Holliday was the #4 overall draft pick by the Rockies in 2025. Holliday had a slow start to the season, but he was trending upward in Class A until he was put on the IL with a stress fracture in his foot and his season came to an end. He slashed .262/.395/.557 (OPS .952) with 9 HR and 32 RBI in 33 games.
