This last weekend marked the end of the 2025 OSSAA Fall Season as the state champions were crowned in all three classes.

Eight teams made the state tournament for each class with a total of 7 games played in each tournament.

SSBR named it’s first State Tournament Teams for each class last year and we are doing it again this year.

We will name four pitchers to the team and a player from each infield position and three outfielders. We will also name 2 utility players as well.

New this year, we will be naming a State Tournament MVP.

Let’s take a look at the team for Class A.

State Tournament MVP: Easton Roby, Okarche Warriors

Easton Roby of Okarche is not only the ace of the Warriors’ outstanding pitching staff, he is one of their best offensive players as well. This past weekend in the state tournament, Roby showed he is one of, if not the best players in Class A and all classes.

Batting 2nd in the deep Okarche lineup, Roby had the highest slugging percentage and OPS of any batter in the tournament. He got a base hit 2 out of 3 times and on base 3 out of 4 times.

Not only that, Roby got the ball in the championship game and showed why he is one of the best on the bump. Against a good Canute linuep, Roby went 6.2 innings being pulled only because he was up against the limit at 122 pitches. He scattered 8 hit giving up only 2 runs allowing his the Warriors to cruise to the state championship.
