It is hard to believe that the college baseball season in Oklahoma is just around the corner.

Earlier in December, we sent out a questionnaire to each small college baseball team’s head coach (NCAA D2, NAIA, NJCAA) in the state about their program and outlook for 2024. We’ve had several responses and we are excited to share with you their previews for the upcoming season.

  • 11 total

Potential Incoming Impact Players

  • 11 transfers total from NAIA and NCAA D2 schools

  • Jaxon Kyser: NAIA transfer that will provide depth and experience in the infield
  • Ale Villegas: NAIA transfer

Season Outlook

After winning only 3 regular season games in 2023, the Saints made a run in the NDAG Regional of the NCCAA postseason. They fell just short of qualifying for the NCCAA World Series, but they hope to build on the momentum of that run.

Randall will also lean on the experience their 11 transfers will bring. That and the experience their returning players have should also benefit them as the season goes on.

Coach Bennett once again did not shy away from a tough schedule. Along with playing the teams in their Non Dual Affiliated Group that they will play, Randall’s schedule is “loaded with NAIA and D2 programs that compete for World Series year in and year out.” Bennett hopes that will make the Saints “battle tested” and they can use that to compete for the Regional title and make the NCCAA World Series.
