We’ve played 7 weeks of the 2026 Fall season, one week of Districts for Classes A and B, and that means it is time for Regionals.

The Regional will be played this week for all 3 classifications in 2A, A, and B.

For the 16 teams in Class 2A, they will be paired up according to the OSSAA Coaches Rankings from September 21 with the #1 team playing the #16 team, the #2 team playing the #15 team, and so on. They will be best of 3 series played at the higher seed’s home field with the winner moving on to the state tournament next week.

For Classes A and B, the 16 Districts winners in each class from last week will play in 4 team brackets. They will be paired up according to the same OSSAA Coaches Rankings from September 21 with the Regional champ and runner up advancing to the state tournament next week.

Regionals are scheduled to start Thursday, but with the rain expected later this week, don’t be surprised to see some, if not most, of the Regionals moved up to start sooner.
