Week 5 of the 2026 Fall season is upon us and that means we have only 2 weekends left of in season tournaments/festivals.
One of the best year in and year out is this week and it may even be the best one this season – the Silo Tournament.
Eight teams will converge just outside of Durant at Silo High School for a traditional 8 team, double elimination bracket. Four teams will play their first 2 games on Thursday while the other four will play their first 2 games on Friday.
The field features four teams in the latest SSBR Fall Top Ten, with Silo, Tushka, and Dale coming in at #1, #2, and #3 respectively (Tupelo is #6).
On top of that, five of the eight teams are riding winning streaks of at least 5 – Silo (20), Dale (9), Tushka (9), Oktaha (5), and Preston(5).
All 8 teams are ranked in the top 10 of their respective class in the latest OSSAA Coaches Rankings – 2A: Silo (1), Dale (2), Tushka (3), Preston (5), Oktaha (6); A: Wright City (4), Wister (10); B: Tupelo (2).
It is safe to say that the winner of this tournament will have earned it.
