The final weekend of the OSSAA baseball season is upon us with 6 different classifications playing their state tournaments starting Thursday.

The Class 6A field has a group of teams that are no strangers to the state tournament.

Mustang is making their 10th appearance with it being their 1st since 2021. The Broncos have won 2 state championship in their history (1982, 2017)

Jenks is making their 30th trip to state with this one being their first since 2022. The Trojans have won 4 state titles with the last one in 2021.

Piedmont made the jump to 6A last year and made the state tournament. This is their 10th total state appearances in history.

Sapulpa also made the jump to 6A last year. The Chieftains are making their 16th overall state appearance in history and have 3 state titles from the 1920s.

Deer Creek does not have a state championship, but they are making their 21st state tournament appearance with this being their first since 2023.

Yukon is making their 20th state tournament appearance and has a state championship from 1982.

Bixby is one of 3 schools that made the state tournament last year and they are making their 21st appearance total. The Spartans have 3 state championship with the most recent one in 2023.

The State Champs in 2025, Edmond Santa Fe is making their 21st state appearance in their school’s relatively short history. They also won the title in 2019.
