The final weekend of the OSSAA baseball season is upon us with 6 different classifications playing their state tournaments starting Thursday.

The 5A State Tournament field is filled with teams that are familiar to the state tournament historically as well as recently.

Carl Albert has 8 state championships in their history all between 2007 and 2024. The Titans are making their 34th state tournament appearance with 2026 their 8th straight.

Collinsville won a state championship in 2010 and is making their 16th appearance at state. This is their 7th appearance in the last 8 seasons.

Midwest City has been to the state tournament 24 times previously, but this is their first appearance since 2008. The Bombers won a state title in 1988.

Pryor is making their 23rd state tournament appearance winning one in 2019. The Tigers have made state 12 out of the last 15 seasons.

Bishop Kelley is making their 31st state tournament appearance including 5 out of the last 6 seasons. The Comets have won 6 state titles with the last one in 2018.

While Noble has yet to win a state championship, the Bears are making 12th state tournament appearance including their 6th in a row.

Claremore is making their 26th trip to the state tournament including back to back seasons currently. The Zebras have 4 state titles to their credit all between 1993 and 2005.

Moving up to 5A this season, Newcastle has yet to win a state title. The Racers are making their 11th trip to state including the last 3 seasons.
