One of the best programs across the state of Oklahoma the last three years has definitely been 3A’s Washington Warriors. They’ve won the last three state titles including this year’s title against Perry this past Saturday.

Word came out this afternoon that the architect of that dynasty, Jeff Kulbeth, is stepping down as head coach of the Warrior program.

The news was announced on the Warriors social media accounts and the booster club included the team stats from Kulbeth’s seven years leading the program.

Washington’s numbers with Kulbeth at the helm (2018-2024)

  • Overall record: 166-47
  • State Tournaments: 4
  • State Semifinal appearances: 4
  • State Championships: 3

This is shows that not only did Washington win a lot of games with Kulbeth as the head coach, they shined when the lights were brightest.

Best wishes to Coach Kulbeth in his future endeavors.
