The SEC Conference has a unofficial motto of “It Just Means More.” For a high school baseball tournament at Cashion High School this weekend, that motto sums it up perfectly.

The 2nd Annual Brexten Green Memorial Tournament will be played at Cashion High School.

Brexten Green was a Cashion High graduate. He was a state champ in football and power lifting. In 2021, he led the baseball team to the state tournament. After graduating, Brexten went to Emporia State and was a wide receiver on the football team. Two summers ago, Brexten tragically passed away in a cliff diving accident.

To say the impact Brexten had on the Cashion community would be an understatement. His impact is living on today via a foundation set up by his family.

Brexten Green lived and influenced more people in 20 years than most people do in a lifetime. Through his legacy, our foundation was born. The purpose of our foundation is to reach out to young people by offering scholarships, meeting needs, and providing opportunities to grow and influence others around them.
