The calendar has changed to September and that mean we are almost to the halfway point of the Fall season.

With the Labor Day weekend coming up, the Hydro-Eakly Labor Day Tournament gets most of the attention, but don’t overlook the Asher Festival of Champions this Thursday and Friday.

The festival will have 7 teams playing a total of 8 games over the 2 days. Two of the teams are in the top 3 of the latest SSBR Fall Top Ten: #1 Silo and #3 Dale. It also has 2 teams that won 2 state titles last year in Okarche and Calumet.
