The Fall season is upon us and one of the hallmarks of the Fall season is the fact that every Thursday-Saturday you can find several tournaments played throughout the state that provide great matchups of top teams from each class.
The tournament that brings together the most elite teams each year happens the first full weekend of the season and it happens at the Dale Invitational. Word is this is the 53rd edition of the tournament and this year is no exception. The 10 team field are teams that ALL played in their respective state tournament just 3 months ago in the Spring season. Not only that, 4 of those teams won their respective state championship in the Spring with 2 of those teams winning their respective state title last Fall.
This is a tournament that could see a team lose 2 games (go 0-2, or 1-2) and still be a factor in their respective Class state championship.

- Dale Pirates: Fall: 25-4 (2A State quarterfinalist); Spring: 25-7 (2A-1 State semifinalist)
- AmPo Panthers: Fall: 14-11 (2A); Spring: 24-7 (A-1 State semifinalist)
- Colbert Leopards: Fall: 22-11 (2A State semifinalist); Spring: 31-7 (2A-1 State runner up)
- Cameron Yellowjackets: Fall: 15-8 (A State quarterfinalist); Spring: 18-9 (A-2 State quarterfinalist)
- Ft Cobb-Broxton Mustangs: Fall: 25-13 (B State runner up); Spring: 25-11 (B State runner up)
- Silo Rebels: Fall: 26-3 (2A State semifinalist); Spring: 31-7 (3A State quarterfinalist)
- Calumet Chieftains: Fall: 21-8 (B State Champs); Spring: 22-6 (B State Champs)
- Rattan Rams: Fall: 20-11 (A State runner up); Spring: 26-4 (A-2 State Champs)
- Preston Pirates: Fall: 29-2 (2A State quarterfinalist); Spring: 30-5 (2A-2 State Champs)
- Okarche Warriors: Fall: 30-2 (A State Champs); Spring: 23-5 (A-1 State Champs)
