The calendar has turned to the a new year and that means the OSSAA high school baseball season will be here soon. Classes A1, A2, and B officially get started February 23 while the rest of the classes begin March 2.

Up until that the beginning of the season, SSBR will be providing previews of as many teams as we can. Recently, SSBR sent out questionnaires to the high school coaches across the state of Oklahoma asking for their top returning players, top newcomers, overall strengths/weaknesses, and their overall assessment where their respective programs are coming into the 2026 season.

What you have below are the responses to those questions in the words of the coaches themselves.

Top Returners

• Mason Iott – Junior arm and 3B was big on the mound for us last year. Looking for him to continue his role on the mound and swing it big for us.
• Alex Crawford – Senior Pitcher and IF for us that had a really good season last year and is looking to produce big for us both on the mound and in the field.
• Landon Fisher – Senior Pitcher and Utl. Looking to have a big year on the mound and find in the lineup.
• Brody Peck – Senior IF looking to be back in the middle for us.

Top Newcomers

• Cruz Morton – Junior that filled in some spots for us last year in the OF and was our go to runner when we needed one. He has really progressed over the fall and winter and is looking to have a good year.
• Jaxson Robinson – Junior Pitcher/Utl that is looking to have a really good year.

Overall Team Strengths

We are returning 80% of our innings on the mound. The group is hard workers and love to compete.

Overall Team Needs to Work On

We have a young group in terms of everyday lineup guysexperience. Our challenge will be accelerating our growth early in the season.

Outlook

We are looking to have a really solid year and put ourselves in a position to win a district title and host a regional. Being able to play our best ball in May and give ourselves a chance. I am extremly excited for this season.
