The quarterfinals are over and it is time to recap the day’s action as we are now down to the semifinals for Friday.
Let’s take a look at the happenings of Thursday. We will use the data from the winning team’s GameChanger page.

The Byng Pirates brought their bats with them today as they dominated the upstart Leopards from Colbert. The Pirates had 12 hits with 5 of them for extra bases and 5 different hitters had RBIs.
The scoring started for Byng in the 3rd inning as they exploded for 6 runs all with 2 outs. Preston Welch knocked in 2 runs on a double to left field. Ezekiel Griffen then knocked in Welch with a base hit to right field. Hagen Graham then provided the big punch with a 3 run bomb to left field.
Byng scored 3 more runs in the next 2 innings. Reese Littlefield knocked in a run on a base hit in the 4th. Jaxon Andrews then knocked in 2 more in the 5th with a line drive to center field.
Lane McCarter started the game for Byng, but gave way to Kix Stephens after only 35 pitches. Stephens took it the rest of the way for the Pirates as the 2 pitchers combined for the shutout on only 5 hits.

A day after taking out the #2 Dale, the Tushka Tigers shocked the Oklahoma baseball world again by taking out the #3 seed Silo in walk off fashion.
Silo struck first in the top half of the 1st frame on a sac fly by Canon Atwood and single by Sean Mendenall. However, Tushka scored 3 of their own in the bottom half on a double by Kason Duvall bringing in 2 along with the 3rd run as Duvall scored on an error on the play.
Tushka added another run on an error on a Jaxson Gregory bunt.
The score remained 4-2 until the 6th when Silo scored 3 in the top half of the inning. With the bases loaded, the Rebels scored 3 runs on a fly ball by Aiden McCarty giving Silo the lead at 5-4.
Tushka got a runner on via a walk by Grady Howard. Jace Hastings came in as a courtesy runner and stole 2B. Two balks later brought the tying run home.
The score remained 5-5 after Silo went 3 up, 3 down in the top half of the 7th. Duvall led off the inning getting hit by a pitch. After a sac bunt by DJ Alberda got Duvall to 2B, Kale Graham walked it off with a hard ground ball to center field bringing home Duvall allowing the Tigers to advance to the championship game
