Don’t know about you, but the 2025 OSSAA Fall Baseball season just about snuck up on us. This past summer seemed to have flown by and here we are in the opening week of the fall season.

One of the hallmarks of the Fall season is the fact that every Thursday-Saturday you can find several tournaments played throughout the state that provide great matchups of top teams from each class.

The tournament that brings together the most elite teams each year happens the first full weekend of the season and it happens at the Dale Invitational. This year is no exception as the 10 team field will have 9 varsity teams (Dale JV is the other) that ALL played in their respective state tournament just 3 months ago in the Spring season (8 of them played in the state tournament last Fall).

This is a tournament that could see a team lose 2 games (go 0-2, or 1-2) and still be a factor in their respective Class state championship.
