The Summer break is almost over and schools in Oklahoma will begin the 2025-2026 school soon. That also means that it is almost time for the 2025 High School Fall season to start.

The season officially opens on Monday, August 11 (or sooner if both schools are already in session). For the next few weeks, we will be previewing several teams as they look forward to the season.

Recently, SSBR sent out questionnaires to the head coaches of the schools playing baseball this Fall. We asked about their returning players, top players, strengths/weaknesses, and their overall assessment of where their teams are and could be.

Outlook

Okarche has quietly become one of the best programs in Class A over the last few years. They’ve made the state tournament each of the last 4 seasons (2 Fall, 2 Spring) with advancing to the semifinals in both state tournaments in 2024-2025.

The Warriors return most of the core that has been to those state tournaments. They have one of the best pitching staffs in the state and a solid defense to go behind them.

According to head coach, Ryan Beaman, “They have set high expectations for this program and understand what the end goal is.”

The end goal is the team to be standing at the end of the 2nd Saturday in October and Okarche is a team that has the ability to do just that.
