The Summer break is almost over and schools in Oklahoma will begin the 2025-2026 school soon. That also means that it is almost time for the 2025 High School Fall season to start.
The season officially opens on Monday, August 11 (or sooner if both schools are already in session). For the next few weeks, we will be previewing several teams as they look forward to the season.
Recently, SSBR sent out questionnaires to the head coaches of the schools playing baseball this Fall. We asked about their returning players, top players, strengths/weaknesses, and their overall assessment of where their teams are and could be.

Outlook
Stuart has had an incredible run the last 2 years reaching the last four Class B State Tournaments in Fall and Spring combined with the last three semifinals appearances. People may often overlook the Hornets because of the success Ft Cobb-Broxton has had and that Calumet has been the runner up the same last four Class B seasons.
This year should be no different for the Hornets as they look to get back to the Class B State Tournament and compete for the championship. They’ve got seven returning seniors and a returning junior that will bring a ton of experience. Nolan Stewart will lead the team as Coach Williams says he is “as good as anyone in the class.”
While the Hornets also return their top arms who can make batters swing and miss, Coach Williams says they “will have to improve offensively,” and that they “need consistency at the plate.”
