The National Junior College Athletic Association announced their All America teams today and the Sooner State is represented on both the Division 1 an Division 2 teams.

Division 2 saw two players from Oklahoma schools honored as 1st team All Americans, while Division 1 saw a player named to the 3rd team and two more named as Honorable Mentions.


Division 2

Blade Carver (C), NOC Tonkawa, 1st Team

Carver was simply the best catcher in the country in D2. He lead the country in HR (23) and had the 11th most RBI (71).

Carver was named a 3rd Team All American in 2024 and will be heading to East Carolina next season.

Austin Haley (INF), Murray State College, 1st Team

Haley started the season hot and did not slow down. He was about as automatic at the plate as a ball player can be as he ended the season with an average over .500 (.503). Haley led the nation in average with the 2nd best a full .36 points behind.

Not only was Haley outstanding at the plate, he provided the Aggies with some outstanding performances on the mound this year. He appeared in 12 Games throwing 58 innings with a record of 4-3 and ERA of 4.50. He struck out 76 batters against only 24 walks.

This is Haley’s first All American selection and he announced in April that he will be going to Kansas State this next year.

Division 1

Solo Skalnik (OF), Northeastern A&M, 3rd Team

The redshirt sophomore from Owasso was a stalwart in the Norsemen lineup. He led the team in every major offensive category (except stolen bases).

Skalnik was 8th in the country in doubles and 14th in slugging. He was also named All Region and a NJCAA Region 2 Gold Glove winner.

He is currently uncommitted.

Declan Dahl (P), Seminole State, Honorable Mention

Dahl was the ace of the Trojans staff this year. The Louisiana Tech commit was named to the Region 2 1st Team and was the Pitcher of the Year.

G 13/GS 13, 9-3, 3.14 ERA, 71.2 IP, 64 H, 32 R, 25 ER, 20 BB, 73 K, WHIP 1.17

Wally Diaz, (INF), Connors State, Honorable Mention

Diaz had another big year for the Cowboys. He lead the team in OPS (1.205), SLG (.727) HR (22), XBH (34) and RBI (82). His HR total put him 6th in country and his RBI total put him 8th.

In Diaz’ two years in Warner, he has 44
