The Great American Conference announced their 2025 All Conference Awards last week ahead of the start of their GAC Championship.

A total of nine players from Oklahoma sqauds were named to the GAC All Conference team as Wesley Mitchell of SE Oklahoma State was name the GAC Player of the Year and Logan Sandoval of NWOSU was named Freshman of the Year.

Mitchell is the first player from SEOSU to be named the GAC Player of the Year in school history. His 19 HRs and 137 total bases led the Conference while his 54 RBI and .778 SLG were 2nd. Mitchell’s line for the season (including the postseason): G 50, .386/.424/.799, 21 HR, 59 RBI, 15 2B, 12 BB, 46 R, 3 SB.

Logan is the Rangers’ first Freshman of the Year. In 14 appearances for NWOSU, Logan picked up 4 wins and a save. He also pitched 28 Ks in 42 IP. His final line for the season (including an appearance in the GAC Championship): G 15, GS 1, 4-3, SV, 4.86 ERA, 46.1 IP, 60 H, 15 BB, 30 K.
