The regular season is winding down for some of our state’s college squads. OK Wesleyan and the Great American Conference teams (D2) are playing their last conference series this weekend. The MIAA and the JUCO teams have one more weekend after this one.

However, the Sooner Athletic Conference teams are starting the SAC Championship today. You can get a preview here.

Here are some of the highlights this weekend:

• OK Wesleyan plays 3rd place Ottawa in their conference finale. The Eagles can clinch a KCAC championship and an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament with a win and a Kansas Wesleyan loss this weekend.
• NWOSU, SEOSU, OBU, and SWOSU all have a chance for the 7th and 8th spots in the GAC Championship. The Rangers and Savage Storm currently hold those spots.
• OU already won game 1 vs Georgia on Thursday. Another win will clinch the series vs the current RPI #1.
• ORU opens a 4 game series at home vs 1st place St Thomas. The Golden Eagles are in 2nd two games back in the loss column.
