As the high school season winds down, we are to the point that this will be the last week with any in-season festivals or tournaments.

Fortunately, for the small schools at least, one of the best events of the season is this weekend.

Dibble will be hosting their annual Festival starting Thursday and it is full of top level small school squads. There are 10 teams ranked in the top 10 of their respective classes in the OSSAA Rankings including 4 of the top 5 ranked teams in 2A-1 (#1 Dale, #2 Cashion, #3 Calera, #5 Dibble). There are also 3 teams in the latest SSBR Sweet Sixteen (#5 Dale, #11 Calera, and #16 Okarche) and 2 more teams that received consideration in the latest Sweet Sixteen (Cashion and Ripley).

This year’s festival will be played at two locations: Dibble High School and AmPo High School. It is on Thursday and Friday with 4 games scheduled at each location on each day.
