It seems like every Thursday through Friday of the high school baseball season we are inundated with several tournaments. Honestly, it is a challenge to pick which tournament, festival, or event to focus on (we’d like to do all of them, but we don’t have the manpower to do that – yet). However, there are some tournaments that just jump out at you when you see the field and you know that is one to cover.

One such tournament is this week is the Bo Duren Invitational hosted by Jones High School and sponsored by the Jones Kiwanis Club. All 8 teams have a legitimate shot at qualifying for their respective state tournament and some of them have a real shot at holding the championship plaque in May.

The format is an 8 team tournament where all 8 teams are guaranteed 3 games.
