With the high school season getting into full swing this week, that means it is time for the late week tournaments/festivals.

The first event that we will focus on this season is the always good Owasso Ram Festival. This event is separate from their annual Nike/Pro-Nine event they hold in April.

This weekend will have several of the top teams in Class 6A along with a few teams expected to contend for championships in the smaller classes. There is even one school from out of state that is a top squad in the state of Kansas.

Owasso and Broken Arrow come into the event both at 2-0 and have looked impressive in both of their respective games. The Rams have beat Stillwater and Bartlesville while BA has beaten Yukon and Jenks.

Newcastle is also coming in on the tail of an impressive opening day comeback win at Edmond Santa Fe. The Racers will play both the Rams and the Tigers in their first 2 games.
