In a world where you have to stand out, you try to do something unique. In the world of high school baseball tournaments that is also the case – especially in the fall.

Fletcher High School has a unique tournament that is back once again this year – the Fletcher Wood Bat Tournament. Gone are the usual “ping” sounds of metal bats in high school ball as they are replaced this weekend with the old fashioned “crack of the bat.”

The double elimination tournament will feature 10 teams mostly from the west side of the state: Fletcher, Duke, Verden, OCA, Chattanooga, Binger-Oney, Ninnekah, Sterling, Riverside, and Big Pasture.
