It seems like every Thursday through Friday of the high school baseball season we are inundated with several tournaments. Honestly, it is a challenge to pick which tournament, festival, or event to focus on (we’d like to do all of them, but we don’t have the manpower to do that – yet). However, there are some tournaments that just jump out at you when you see the field and you know that is one to cover.

One such tournament is this week is the Bo Duren Invitational hosted by Jones High School and sponsored by the Jones Kiwanis Club. Seven of the 8 teams (one is Enid JV) have a legitimate shot at qualifying for their respective state tournament and five of them have a real shot at holding the championship plaque in May.

Oktaha is currently the overwhelming #1 ranked team in Class 2A and Ft Cobb-Broxton is currently #2 and won the 2023 title and 2023 Fall title. Washington, Heritage Hall, and Silo sit atop their respective districts while OCS and Jones are currently 3rd in theirs.
