A division of college baseball (college athletics for that matter) that is often overlooked is the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association.

The NCCAA is the National Christian Colleges Athletic Association. It is comprised of schools that are Christian based institutions of higher education. Most of these schools are affiliated with other governing bodies (mostly NAIA, but some NCAA D2 or D3) although there are some schools that are considered independents (Randal University in Moore is a example).

Three schools in Oklahoma actively participate in the NCCAA: MACU, Southwestern Christian, and Randall University. MACU and Southwestern Christian play in the Sooner Athletic Conference of the NAIA.

In the 2023 season, Randall made a run in their Regional but fell just short of qualifying for the NCCAA National Championship Tournament. MACU and Southwestern Christian, on the other hand, qualified for the national tournament based on the NCCAA’s rankings when they didn’t receive a bid to the NAIA National Tournament

MACU won the 2023 NCCAA National Championship by beating Southwestern Christian in the finals in a 10 inning affair. (Seriously, read about the final game here.)

Since MACU and Southwestern Christian play in NAIA, we’ve already posted their schedules here. We will post them below as well.
