The Oklahoma State Cowboys released it’s 2024 schedule today. The Cowboys have a good mix of non conference games coupled with a tough Big 12 schedule.

The Cowboys open the season deep in the heart of Texas as they have a 3 game series vs Sam Houston in Huntsville, TX, Feb 16-18. OSU will then play their next 4 games at Globe Life Field (home of the World Series champs, Texas Rangers), in Arlington. They play Abilene Christian Feb 21 then 3 games vs Michigan, Arkansas, and Oregon St respectively Feb 23-25. OSU will then finish their trip through Texas with a game at Dallas Baptist on Feb 27.

The Poke open the home part of their schedule March 1-3 hosting Central Michigan. They follow that up with a 2 game set vs Utah Tech, March 5-6, and end the 8 games in 10 days at O’Brate with a series vs Mercer, March 8-10.

They’ll host their Bedlam rival, Oklahoma, in a non conference game on Tuesday, March 12 before starting their Big 12 conference slate at UCF, March 15-17.

• 3/29-3/31: West Virginia
• 4/5-4/7: vs Oklahoma
• 4/12-4/14: vs Cincinnati
• 4/19-4/21: at Kansas State

• 5/10-5/12: vs Texas Tech
• 5/16-5/18: at Houston
• 5/21-5/25: Big 12 Tournament in Arlington, TX

*OSU does not play Kansas or Baylor in the regular season.

What is interesting about OSU’s schedule is they play 10 straight weekends of conference baseball. Big 12 conference play starts March 8. The conference has an odd number of 13 teams so at least one team will always have a weekend off from league play. It just so happens the Cowboys’ “bye” weekend is the first one.
