With all 16 Districts in both Class A and Class B completed over this past weekend, it was already a matter of time before the OSSAA released the Regional assignments.

Looking back at last week’s rankings, we already had an inkling of how they’d go if the OSSAA used that as a guide for the assignments. And that is exactly how they went.

In Class A, Ripley got moved out of the #16 position and the Oktaha site as to the Rattan site. Hydro-Eakly and Canute upset the host schools (Arapaho-Butler and Navajo respectively). Hydro-Eakly is playing at the Oktaha site while Canute makes the almost 300 miles/4.5 hours trek to Wister. Yikes!

Class B went just as the rankings had the teams. Smithville was the only non host school to win a District as they beat #16 ranked Achille. Smithville will play at the Ft Cobb-Broxton site.

Here’s a look at the Class A Regionals. Remember that 2 teams will qualify for the State Tournament from each Regional
