While most of the eyes of the fall baseball season will be on the Silo Tournament, don’t forget about the one in the southwest part of the state as Sentinel High School hosts their own tournament.

The Sentinel Tournament has a blend of teams from both Classes A & B. Six of the nine teams in the tournament are ranked. Arapaho-Butler (#15) and Sentinel (#17) are the ranked teams in Class A while Hammon (#7), Granite (#8), Leedey (#14), and Arnett (#17) are the ranked teams in Class B.

• The Granite/Hammon matchup in the first round immediately jumps out as they are ranked #7 & #8 in Class B.
• Arapaho-Butler won their own tournament a couple of weeks ago beating Wright City and Sterling on the way. They just went 4-2 in the Labor Day Tournament this past weekend beating Leedey and Sentinel.
• Sentinel is the team to watch in the bottom half.
• Leedey is coming off an “upset” of Granite this week.
