Class 2A 1 and 2 are deep in talent. Here are some dudes to watch out for this 2026 season…

2A-1

Brody Nichols (2026) – Cashion RHP/MIF – Eastern OK State Signee

Brody is an ultra-competitor with a lot of fire in him. He doesn’t overpower on the mound or at the plate, but he tends to find a way to win no matter where he’s at. He gets good hitters out at a very high clip. He tossed a shutout in the State Finals last Spring and had a 1.112 ERA.

Cruz Garrett (2028) – Dale MIF/RHP

Cruz is a tremendous athlete with a ton of upside at the plate and on the mound. Super smooth glove with a cannon. His bat makes a lot of noise as well as his mid-upper 80’s fastball. For being just a sophomore, he’s a problem.

Nic Tolbert (2026) – Oktaha MIF – Wichita State Signee

Nic is a big, athletic, and strong kid. He has the ability to put a ball out every single at bat. Being around 6’6 from the left side is a very scary sight for any pitcher. Bright future ahead of this kid.

2A-2

Kaden Dean (2026) – Preston LHP/OF – Kansas State Signee

Kaden is a power lefty arm with great pitchability. He also has a great stick that doesn’t strike out often. The kid does it all, from having a low 90’s fastball, a consistently good stick, to incredible range in centerfield. He is definitely a guy to watch out for.

Kason Hull (2026) – Tushka SS

Kason is a stud shortstop that has led Tushka to many victories. He is a leader on and off the field that makes everybody better. He hits at the top of the lineup and has been very consistent for the Tigers.

Cayden Duvall (2026) – Tonkawa OF

Cayden is a big stick with a ton of upside. He has a lot of pop at the plate and is a pain for pitchers. He is also a great athlete with great speed on the bases and in the outfield.
