The calendar has turned to the a new year and that means the OSSAA high school baseball season will be here soon. Classes A1, A2, and B officially get started February 23 while the rest of the classes begin March 2.

Up until that the beginning of the season, SSBR will be providing previews of as many teams as we can. Recently, SSBR sent out questionnaires to the high school coaches across the state of Oklahoma asking for their top returning players, top newcomers, overall strengths/weaknesses, and their overall assessment where their respective programs are coming into the 2026 season.

What you have below are the responses to those questions in the words of the coaches themselves.

Overall Team Strengths

We have a deep and reliable pitching staff that attacks hitters, throws with confidence, and gives us a chance to win every time we take the field.

Overall Team Needs to Work On

Our goal is to build consistency at the plate from top to bottom of the lineup, competing every at-bat and consistently producing quality plate appearances.

Outlook

After coming up short in the semifinals this fall, we’ve used the offseason the right way — getting stronger, more focused, and more connected as a team. That experience fueled us. We’re hungry for an opportunity to compete for a state championship this spring.

But our mindset hasn’t changed.

We stay humble. We work hard. We focus on getting better every single day.

If we commit to that process — to the daily work, the small details, and playing for each other — the results will take care of themselves.
