The calendar has turned to the a new year and that means the OSSAA high school baseball season will be here soon. Classes A1, A2, and B officially get started February 23 while the rest of the classes begin March 2.

Up until that the beginning of the season, SSBR will be providing previews of as many teams as we can. Recently, SSBR sent out questionnaires to the high school coaches across the state of Oklahoma asking for their top returning players, top newcomers, overall strengths/weaknesses, and their overall assessment where their respective programs are coming into the 2026 season.

What you have below are the responses to those questions in the words of the coaches themselves.

• Matt Parker (2027) – 6’3″ Left Handed P/CF, 3 hole hitter for good average and power. Multi sport athlete.
• Kreid McQueen (2026) – 6’2″ C/SS/P, 4 hole hitter with pop, high baseball IQ. Multi sport athlete.
• Sean Snellings (2028) – 6’1″ Left Handed P/OF, 2-5 hole hitter, talented multi sport guy. (Won a game in regionals on the mound as a freshman last spring)
• Wyatt Warren (2026) – 6’2″ 3B/P, strong athlete with big pop. Multi sport athlete
• Klayton Seddon (2027) 5’10” utility, leadoff hitter with high OBP & AVG. Multi Sport

• Jake Parker (2029) C/SS, exciting young player to watch. Will see significant playing time as freshman.

Overall Team Strengths

A lot of returning starters with big goals, bringing 8 of the 9 starters back from a year ago.

Overall Team Needs to Work On

We need to work on making sure as a team we have the same common goals and work towards achieving them together.

Outlook

We have never been in class A-2, so this will be exciting for us to see new challenges of a new classification. My outlook for the season is that we should be a contender and look to make school history by getting to the sate tournament and winning games when we get there.
