The calendar has turned to the a new year and that means the OSSAA high school baseball season will be here soon. Classes A1, A2, and B officially get started February 23 while the rest of the classes begin March 2.
Up until that the beginning of the season, SSBR will be providing previews of as many teams as we can. Recently, SSBR sent out questionnaires to the high school coaches across the state of Oklahoma asking for their top returning players, top newcomers, overall strengths/weaknesses, and their overall assessment where their respective programs are coming into the 2026 season.
What you have below are the responses to those questions in the words of the coaches themselves.
Today’s team: Okarche Warriors
Classification: A-1
2025 Spring Results: 18-8 (State semifinalist)
2025 Fall Results: 30-2 (Class A State Champion)
Head Coach: Ryan Beaman
Head coaching experience: 6 years (all at Okarche)
Top Returners
- Easton Roby – Committed to Cowley – Big time bat and arm for us. Does a Great job playing the left side of the infield. He has great baseball instincts and is a force on the field.
- Luke Hill – Committed to Western – Has been our lead off guy and plays the SS position and has done a great job of being the spark plug. Luke can set the tone of a game. Also one of our top guys on the mound and is extremely versatile in playing multiple spots on the field.
- Brett Carnott – Committed to Western – Brett is our primary 3rd basemen but has also been one of our top tier guys on the mound. He has played some first base for us as well. He has one of the best gloves around.

- Others coming back:
- Jett Mueggenborg – Our primary center fielder. Reads the ball extremely well and covers a tremendous amount of ground.

- Sam Kroener – Primary First basemen but still plays the outfield at times
- Lane Rother – Primary Right fielder – Tracks the ball extremely well

Top Newcomers
- Jake Henderson (Freshmen) – Jake ended up playing most the Fall season for us behind the plate. He has big time arm with a great pop time. He does a great job of controlling the run game.
- Cy Callamore (Freshmen) – Cy played the DH role for us for most of the fall season and did a great job in key moments. He also has become a really good arm for us on the mound. He found himself in some big games and handled himself extremely well.
Overall Team Strengths
I feel like our group has great team chemistry. Most of that core has played together for the last six years and most of them have started since they were freshmen. They are smart baseball players and they play the game with intensity. They are hungry for success.
Overall Team Needs to Work On
Overall, I think we just need to continue to focus on playing fundamental baseball. We do a really good job of that but that is something that always needs to be a focus.
Outlook
I expect our kids to compete at an extremely high level day in and day out. We have very high standards as a group and they know what that needs to look like. Our expectations have not changed. Our Ultimate goal is to go win another State Championship.
