The calendar has turned to the a new year and that means the OSSAA high school baseball season will be here soon. Classes A1, A2, and B officially get started February 23 while the rest of the classes begin March 2.

Up until that the beginning of the season, SSBR will be providing previews of as many teams as we can. Recently, SSBR sent out questionnaires to the high school coaches across the state of Oklahoma asking for their top returning players, top newcomers, overall strengths/weaknesses, and their overall assessment where their respective programs are coming into the 2026 season.

What you have below are the responses to those questions in the words of the coaches themselves.

• Jaron Bailey– P/OF; 5A- 4 All District- 2025: Pitching; 6-2; 1.47 E.RA; Hitting; .295; 1- HR; 24 RBI’S; Great competitor and high character young man.
• Gavin Roberts– P/SS; 5A-4 District Player of Year- 2025; Pitching; 8-2; 2.45 E.RA; Hitting- .351; 1 HR; 33- RBI’S; 38- Runs; 27-Stolen bases; Will be a 4 year starter; high baseball IQ and an very good defensive player. Great competitor; Signed to play at Connors State.
• Carter Sloan– IB/OF; 5A-4 All District-2025; Hitting- .306; 2- HR; 19- RBI’S; Hard worker and has a chance to be a very productive offensive player.
• Clinton Stohler– P/C/IF; 5A-4 All District- 2025; Hitting- .302; 2- HR’s; 35- RBI’s; Middle of the line-up hitter; can play several defensive positions and has a high baseball IQ.
• Treyce Crawford– 2B; Honorable Mention All District- 2025; Hitting- .287; 1- HR; 21- RBI’s; 23- Runs; Very good defensive player.

Top Newcomers

• Daniel Harrington– P/1B; 5A-4 Pitcher of the Year-2025; Signed with Connors State. Daniel is a big addition to our pitching staff. Also swings the bat well and will be a middle of the line-up hitter.
• Eli Swarer– C/SS/3B; Signed with Seminole State. Versatile player that swings the bat well. We be a good addition to the line-up and can play several positions.
• Dax Thompson– C/P; Sophomore

Overall Team Strengths

Experience and tested. Should be a good defensive club and will be better offensively than last year.

Overall Team Needs to Work On

Continue to improve as a team. Develop pitching and outfield depth.

Outlook

Very excited for the 2026 season. Great group of young men that play hard and love the game.
