The 2026 college season will be here before you know it as the majority of our NCAA D2 squads will begin their seasons the last weekend of January.
In the past, we have looked ahead to the season with season previews, but this year we are changing it up a bit with a fall report that will also provide a look to the season ahead.
SSBR recently sent out questionnaires to each head coach of the small college (NCAA D2, NAIA, NCCAA) and JUCO schools in the state. We asked them to provide who their top returners, top newcomers, and top performers were in the fall. We’ve compiled that information into the fall report with an outlook for the upcoming 2026 season.
Today’s team: NOC Enid Jets
Level: NJCAA Division 2
Region: Region 2
2025 Overall Record: 43-18
2025 Region Record: 14-10 (2nd in Div)
Head Coach: Ryan Bay

Top Newcomers

Top Performers in Fall
Coach Bay said everyone listed were top performers in the Fall minus Cavnar and Fallwell.
Outlook
With a solid returning core, the Jets have added several new faces in 2026 including some experienced transfers. Coach Bay is looking for some added power at the plate that was missing in 2025 and with Connor Cavnar and Tanner Fallwell transferring in, that should help. The former Westmoore HS teammates were part of the 2024 6A State Championship team so they are used to playing big time baseball. Another player from Oklahoma, Blaine Davis (Ft Cobb-Broxton HS), will be looked upon to provide stability out of the bullpen.
The Jets have several arms returning in 2026. However, according to Coach Bay they will need to improve from 2025 in not giving up as many free bases to their opponents.
It wouldn’t take much, but one could argue that NOC Enid is a top 20 program nationally in NJCAA D2. The Jets won the national title in 2019 and they are consistently ranked in the top 20 nationally. Enid looks to keep that trend going in 2026.
The Jets will see a ton of new faces in 2026, but that doesn’t mean they have any less expectation other than make another deep run beyond the Region Tournament.
