It is a mere formality at this point, but the pairings for Class 2A and brackets for Classes A and B in the Regional round are official as the OSSAA released them on Monday morning.
If you follow SSBR on social media, we were able to put together the pairings/brackets this weekend after the results of the District round and per the OSSAA rankings.
Class 2A
Class 2A only has 16 teams in the class so they pair the teams into 2 and they play a best of 3 with the winner advancing to the state tournament.
- 1. Preston vs 16. The Academy
- 2. Dale vs 15. Santa Fe South
- 3. Silo vs 14. Riverside
- 4. Calera vs 13. Howe
- 5. Byng vs 12 Vanoss
- 6. Latta vs 11. Oklahoma Christian Academy
- 7. Tushka vs 10. Amber-Pocasset
- 8. Colbert vs 9. Oktaha
IF the results hold according to seeds, the state bracket will look like this.
- 1 Preston vs 8 Colbert
- 4 Calera vs 5 Byng
- 2 Dale vs 7 Tushka
- 3 Silo vs 6 Latta
Class A
Okarche Regional

Canute Regional

Navajo Regional

Rattan Regional

It is important to note that 2 teams from each Regional advance to the state tournament. The first team to win 2 games without losing is the Regional champ. The Regional runner up advances after winning the consolation side of the bracket.
If the seeds hold, the top four seeds in the state tournament will be Okarche and Rattan on one side while Canute and Navajo would be on the other.
The Regional runners up will be on the opposite side of the bracket from their Regional champ and will be seeded based on their ranking in the September 22 rankings.
Class B
Ft Cobb-Broxton Regional

Calumet Regional

Stuart Regional

Leedey Regional

It is important to note that 2 teams from each Regional advance to the state tournament. The first team to win 2 games without losing is the Regional champ. The Regional runner up advances after winning the consolation side of the bracket.
If the seeds hold, the top four seeds in the state tournament will be FCB and Leedey on one side while Calumet and Stuart would be on the other.
The Regional runners up will be on the opposite side of the bracket from their Regional champ and will be seeded based on their ranking in the September 22 rankings.
