We’ve known what the schedules for the 2025 season will be for both the Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma State Cowboys for some time now. What we didn’t know is what the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles schedule will be.

Until now.

ORU released their 2025 schedule today and it is a good one.

Non Conference Opponents

The first series that really pops out is the mid week series at Arkansas, March 18-19. The Hogs have been one of the elite programs in all of college baseball for quite some time. Going a 115 miles east and getting a win or two would be huge for the Golden Eagles.

The third weekend of the season sees Dallas Baptist come to Tulsa for a 3 game set. The Patriots are now a perennial top 20 team. The Golden Eagles last played DBU in 2023 where they were swept.

The other big non-con series will be at Arizona State the 2nd weekend of the season. ORU will head to the desert to take on a Sun Devils team that finished 32-26 overall and 17-13 in the now defunct PAC-12. ASU moves to the Big 12 this year.

OUR will play their usual 4 games against OU and OSU this year in midweek games. A win against those schools are always a boost to the Golden Eagle program.

Other interesting non-con games are against Brigham Young and Cincinnati. The Cougars and Bearcats are now in their 2nd year in the Big 12. It is awesome to see the Golden Eagles host two Power 4 conference schools in the midweek.

Other non-con foes include Arkansas Pine Bluff in the opening series of the year, Southern Indiana in a series, as well as a home and home vs Missouri State. ORU will play Air Force in Colorado Springs in a midweek game in April and at Wichita State in May.

Conference Games

ORU plays in The Summit League and that conference hasn’t had more than one NCAA Tournament team in quite a while. The Golden Eagles will play home and home series against other Summit League teams: North Dakota St, Omaha, St Thomas, South Dakota State, and Northern Colorado.
