We’ve seen a lot of changes to high school baseball in the Sooner State over the last few months. The most obvious change came this fall with the addition of a Class 2A in the fall season creating 3 classifications.

This weekend, the OSSAA released the Districts for classes 6A, 5A, 4A, and 3A and some schools will be playing other schools that they don’t usually see (looking at you, Norman High).

Below you can see how the teams in those classifications were grouped in their respective Districts.

Class 6A

• With each District release, there are always teams in the OKC metro that have to make those long trips each week to the east side and those fall to Southmoore, US Grant, Norman High, and NW Classen this time.
• Sapulpa moves up to 6A this year after being one of the better 5A teams the last several years (Lawton moves down to 5A).

Class 4A

• Count us in for those Tuttle/Chickasha games in District 2 and MSM/OCS games in District 3! (Mount St Mary moves back up to 4A after a year in 3A.)

Class 3A

• The 2024 Class 4A State Champion, Marlow moves down to Class 3A!
