We don’t usually get to see Oklahoma teams travel out of state to play baseball in the fall because Oklahoma is one of the very few that has a fall baseball season.

The exception to that “rule” is Silo as they are taking their annual trip to Ozark, MO to play four games over two days on Friday and Saturday at the US Ballpark Fall Kickoff. While Missouri has a fall baseball season, they do not crown a state champion in the fall. it is called a “kick off” because the fall season in Missouri officially starts this weekend.

The Rebels have been taking this annual fall trip to Ozark about the last 10 years or so.

The remaining unbeaten team in Oklahoma, Silo (7-0) will play Licking High School, Exeter High School, Southwest (Washburn) High School, and the JV team from Purdy High School.

Not only are the Rebel playing these teams, they get to do so in one of the finest community ballparks you’ll find: U.S. Ballpark. Also known as Sky Bacon Stadium, the ballpark hosts Mission University home games and has held multiple events including Missouri High School State Tournaments.
