The eleven junior colleges in our state completed the regular season this past weekend. That means it is time for postseason baseball for both the Division 1 schools and the Division 2 schools.

The first step in the postseason are the region tournaments where the winner will then go on to the district tournament. The winner of the district tournament will then move on to their respective World Series tournament to crown the NJCAA national champion.

Teams: Seminole State, Connors State, NEO, Rose State, Eastern

• Seminole State – 18-6* (36-14)

*Seminole State named the #1 seed in the tournament.

The tournament will be played at Seminole State College in Seminole. The winner will host the champion of Region 16 in the South Central District Championship the following week.

Division 2 is set up different than Division 1 in that there are six Arkansas schools that make up the number of teams in D2 Region 2 add up to twelve. It is to be played at David Allen Ballpark in Enid.

The Region tournament is an 8 team, double elimination tournament and only the top four teams from Oklahoma and the top four from Arkansas make the field. When placed on the bracket the #1 and #4 teams from the opposite state play and the #2 and #3 teams from the opposite state play.

We could not find an actual bracket, but here is the schedule below.
