The National Junior College Athletic Association released the Academic All American Teams for each sport on Monday. Several teams and individual players representing schools from Oklahoma made the list.
All American Teams of the Year
Each squad had to have a cumulative GPA for the 2022-2023 academic year of at least a 3.0 to qualify. There were four schools from Oklahoma that qualified.
- Northern Oklahoma College – Tonkawa (3.45)
- Seminole State College (3.34)
- Murray State College (3.18)
- Northern Oklahoma College – Enid (3.17)

All American Teams
Individuals also had the opportunity to qualify for the Academic All American Teams. To qualify, each students had to have at least a 3.60 GPA for the 2022-2023 academic year. A GPA of 4.0 would qualify the student for the 1st team. A GPA of 3.80-3.99 would place the student on the 2nd team. And a GPA of 3.60-3.79 would place the student on the 3rd team.
